Accommodation
Our guests are accommodated in very well appointed, comfortable en-suite rooms, all of which have colour television, tea and coffee making facilities, clock radios and many other little touches which make the Hotel a home from home. For the cooler months, all rooms have full central heating and electric blankets, so guests taking advantage of our off season specials can enjoy bed and breakfast accommodation in Bournemouth all year round.

We continually redecorate and improve our rooms to maintain them to a high standard.

Cuisine
We pride ourselves on the excellent quality of our Home Cooking, and for many guests it is a highlight of their stay to have good, varied home cooked food.

Breakfast comprises a comprehensive buffet of cereals, fruit juices, yogurts and fresh fruit, followed by a choice of any items from our 'hot menu' , which will be freshly cooked to order. Finally, toast, croissants and preserves, teas and Coffee complete a Breakfast to set you up for the day!

Evening meal is usually available on request every night. It comprises 3 courses, with a choice of 2 or 3 items per course. Once again, the delicious food is Home Cooked, using fresh, local ingredients whenever possible. As the Hotel is not licensed, please feel free to bring your own wine or drinks to the table.

Facilities
There is forecourt Car Parking outside the front door. We have extensive tourist information available and bookings can usually be made for Theatre, Cinema, concerts or other events on request.

Places to visit Locally
The Alexander Lodge is ideally situated for many activities. The beautiful Blue Flag Sandy Beach is just a few hundred metres walk away, plus cliff top walks and Gardens. In the Southbourne area of Bournemouth, there is an excellent range of Cafes, Restaurants and Pubs, as well as good local shops, with buses every 10 minutes to Bournemouth Town Centre or Christchurch, a delightful Market town nearby.

A little further a field, the New Forest is just 30 minutes drive, with Beaulieu, Salisbury, Stonehenge, Dorchester, Swanage, Weymouth and the Isle of Wight all within easy reach. Local Birwatching is excellent at Hengistbury Head, Poole and Arne.

Within Bournemouth there are Golf courses to suit all abilities, Cinemas, Theatre, Swimming Pools and many other activities for the whole family, so whether you are coming for Business or pleasure our location is ideal.
